PVC Card & Printer

PVC Card Stock Guide for Print Shops

Blank PVC cards are the foundation of every employee badge, membership pass and loyalty programme your shop produces. Virgin polymer sheets and pre-cut CR80 blanks feed through inkjet overlays, thermal lamination lines and retransfer printers with consistent thickness so rollers grip evenly and print heads stay clean. Indian print shops order PVC card stock in bulk because a single corporate onboarding can consume hundreds of blanks in one afternoon.

Thickness matters for lamination and durability. Standard 760 micron card bodies suit most ID jobs with overlay films; thinner blanks reduce cost for short-life event passes. Match card colour — bright white for photo IDs, frosted for premium visitor badges — to the printer or laminator your client uses. Static-free virgin material prevents jamming in high-humidity workshops. When clients fuse inkjet prints, pair blanks with compatible thermal films from foils sheets and verify oven or heat-press temperature against the micron rating on each product page.

Desktop shops starting badge programmes source printers from PVC card printer while high-volume outfits run sheet lamination on ID card machines. AbhishekID imports premium-grade consumables tested for Indian climatic conditions so lamination bonds stay flat without bubble lines. Explore specialty finishing options in other when clients need magnetic stripes, signature panels or non-standard card sizes beyond standard CR80.
