This Easycut gold roll is a toner reactive foil film (TRF) — heat-activated metallic foil that bonds only to laser-printed toner when passed through a hot laminator. Print on a laser printer, lay the foil over the toner, and lam at ~180°C. Not compatible with inkjet prints. Single roll for wedding cards, thesis binding, certificates, and premium stationery.
TRF Process
- Print design using a laser printer (toner required)
- Place toner reactive foil film over printed toner area
- Feed through hot laminator with carrier sheet (~180°C)
- Peel foil — metallic layer adheres only to toner
