ID Card Accessories & Badge Clip Guide

A badge clip pin connects a printed PVC card or rigid holder to a lanyard strap or uniform pocket. Without the right clip, cards twist, fall off or snag on clothing — a common complaint at schools, hospitals and corporate offices. The most popular fittings in India are S1 plastic clips (sliding onto 12mm–20mm lanyard ribbon), metal swivel clips (360° rotation for front-facing badges) and bulldog clips for thick laminated cards.

Match clip type to card format and wear method. Flexible PVC pouches use alligator or S1 clips; rigid holders need wider-jaw metal clips. Retractable badge reels (yoyos) suit access-control desks where staff scan cards frequently. For uniform attachment, safety-pin badge backs work on fabric where lanyards are not allowed. Stock multiple clip styles because corporate HR, school admin and event teams each specify different attachment methods.

AbhishekID groups clips and fittings with sibling accessory hubs. Pair badgeaccessories for reels and straps, id card holders for rigid cases, id card material fitting for hooks and pins, and lanyard design for printed neck straps — everything needed to deliver finished badge kits across India.
